Yay for KH style battles. This looks a little bit like Pokemon though. Not a LOT, but it seems like the same main idea. It's gonna be a great game though, I'm really hoping for an early release.

Yeah, comparing it to Pokemon wouldn't be too far off, and battles will actually be more in line with Pokemon than KH. With KH you never really enter a battle screen, it's kinda like a Zelda game in that sense. But Joker will be more like Tales of Symphonia (or Abyss, etc.) where you can see the monsters on the field. But once you engage them you enter a battle screen and battle in turn-based fashion. Should be basically the best of both worlds, as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, he seems to have a chip on his shoulder. But from what I know of the story so far, his own father is supposed to have had him imprisoned. I'd be pissed too.

Ah right, I forgot about that. It sorta slipped my mind that I tested out Joker like a couple months back because I emailed SquareENIX and they said they weren't sure if Joker would come out in English and that they are definitely considering it.

Better not get our hopes up but that would be awesome.

Call of Duty 4 is coming soon as well and Dementium proved to be a great shooter so I have faith in the DS version of CoD4.

I didn't really think Dementium was that good for a "shooter". Oh lawd, I'm sooo hoping for an early release of this. Come on ROM dumpers, pull another Dementium on us!

For a DS shooter I found it quite entertaining and Call of Duty 4 looks even better, I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Wow, so great, DQJ, CoD4 and Puzzle de Harvest Moon on the same day, hopefully at least one of those will be dumped early.

Yeah, definitely another good week. Panzer Tactics and LEGO Star Wars are also due out next week.

Does Lameboy work on a slot-1 card? Love to try those games out if they run good on that emulator, and if it'll work on my CycloDS (don't have a slot-2 card).

Also, I found this video on Youtube. It's kinda blurry and there's no game sound -- there are also videos of the gameplay with far better quality -- but this video does such a great job of displaying how much has gone into the overall production. Just a gorgeous game!

Compared to DQM3 it looks kind of reduced in gameplay and complexity. Let's hope that's just the first impression.
