oh, so editing files can ONLY be done through hex editing?
lol,
hacking a 3ds game into English isn't as easy as other games. :( .

when using the hex editor, you need to look for spefic areas for the text?
um, so if you find the text in Japanese, you can translate it using gale and then reinsert it back?

also the files that you edit should be in the romFS folder?
what files are editable by hex?

I'm not trying to be pushy or anything, I'm just stating the fact that there hasn't been any info provided that anyone who is watching this tread can see if any progress is being done.

I'm crossing my toes man, I'd try to cross my nuts, but i think that would hurt, I cant wait to be able to understand this game, iv'e been playing it but find it difficult since i dont speak Japanese, Im hoping everything is going well for all the people working on this project.

This looks good, reminds me of when I translated FFIV DS. It started as a one person project, working strictly with hex editors. Eventually it grew into a three person project and we translated everything but the story dialogue. I wish you the best of luck, I know how hard something like this can be.
