I remember, a bunch of years ago, back when my DS flashcart still worked, there were a few projects aiming to translate the DQ4 party chat, which was sadly left out of the US version of the game. Did any of them ever finish? Did anyone ever just say "screw it" and insert the party chat from the Android version into the DS version?
I've been considering playing through the series game by game, and I want the "best" version of each game, and if I can get the only improvement DQ4 mobile made over the DS version I already own without having to pay again and deal with software joysticks, that would be great. My PC is robust enough for DS emulation, and I've been considering picking up another flashcart soon anyways (I have 3 other games to go through before I hit 4, so I have a while). Also any recommendations on which version of the other games is best would be appreciated.
