Attempting to play the EU version from the .cia install and the game loads up, it says it has to create extra data, and then gives me an error that says it had an error while writing data to the SD card.

Wtf? Is this game having issues, not compatible or something else?

If you're using luma make a file with the titleID on it and put EUR EN in the file. Put that file in the language emulation folder located inside the Luna folder then turn on Luma's language emulation setting.

Make what kind of file? You mean a folder with the title name? And another folder inside that one named EUR EN?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

And how do you turn on the luma language emulator? o.O

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

There is no language emulation folder inside the luma folder on my SD card, any advice?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Got it, derp. Thanks.

Props for solving your own issue.

I love seeing the thought process in all of the merged posts :P

I am still having problems with this one. I have turned on the luma option for language emulation. I placed the folder locales under luma, and created a file with the title id 000400000018f200.txt filled with EUR EN into this folder. Now instead of the SD error the game hangs right at the 3ds loading screen. Other games still work.

Use Luma Locale Switcher. Download it on titlesdb.

Directly from that iso site:

Hold Select while Powering On your 3DS to bring up the Luma3DS configuration menu
- Make sure Enable region/language emu. and ext. .code is enabled
- Press Start to save and reboot
- Run LumaLocaleSwitcher and find your game under Titles
- Select Change Region -> EUR
- Reboot (mandatory)
- Game should now be playable

That worked. Much easier method than the manual way. Thanks.
