I think I can update EmuNAND by using ReiNAND + System Settings->Firmware Update?
The problem will be that I need to decrypt the NAND, right? Is it possible after updating it? ReiNAND and N3DS only supports EmuNAND up to 9.5...

Ah, you bought it and now you can't play? That's bad... Be careful with updating stuff. I can't give you advice on that. Decrypting the NAND is not a problem. While Decrypt9 only supports SysNAND, you may just generate a NAND xorpad and use this to apply it to a EmuNAND backup.

That depends on what you are using for EmuNAND - the basic rules are to check your version in settings (there should be some indicator that you are on EmuNAND in there), don't exit settingsm then update from settings.

I'll using ReiNAND to boot into EmuNAND.
I guess the possibility to boot FBI as CIa is a valid indicator that I'm in EmuNAND?
After going to System Settings, it won't accidentally leave the EmuNAND and going back to SysNAND (i know, normally I'm back in SysNAND AFTER I left the System Settings)?
ReiNAND has no "CFW, GW" or something before the System Version.

No, I wouldn't say so. Better ask in the ReiNAND thread. And I think @key1340 is right. You need a hardmod.

I'm not able to hardmod my N3DS (non XL). It's much trickier than with my old 3DS XL.
I'll try to create a EmuNAND with ReiNAND, update it to 9.9 and create a Xorpad for it. This could work.

Is there a Tutorial for it?
I would try a USB-Hardmod (have a modified USB to SD Cable already) but I've some problems with the very small pins of the Mini-USB Port :|

I don't own a Gateway Flashcard, only using CFW.
I'm not able to decrypt and extract the RomFS without seeddb.bin :| And I really want to look into the RomFS (possibly replace some textures)

Not sure about that.

No need to discuss that in a PM. Yes, the xorpad never changes. In essence, you could make a xorpad on v4.5 and use it all the way up to v999.x.x .

Tried it twice with different tools:
Error, IVFC segment corrupted. Error, RomFS corrupted.

Would be awesome if someone could send me the extracted romfs-files

I used ctrtool but that was with the original .3ds not a cryptofixed one.If you still need help with decrypting romfs pm me.
