Hacking Download play not working on 2ds/o3ds on Luma

After I press DS Download Play the screens just go black and freeze. Download Play works on my New 3DS XL also on Luma.
Is this a common issue? Can it be fixed?

Make sure you don't have any TWL patches as this may affect it

Is your luma updated to latest version? Does it work with regular using original nds console?

I guess your TWL firm is broken. Try if any ds cart or dsi ware runs on your console. If not, you should fix your TWL firm by installing those 5 cia's.

Try using DS Download play on both O3DS & N3DS with Pokemon Black 2 & Pokemon Platinum.
Yeah, this is only your problem. Try updating Luma3DS, if it doesn't work, we have to look into TWL firm.
