Not really a one-shot thing. More like you have one attempt to downgrade. If you fail and you are soft bricked, you can use recovery mode to fix it but you will no longer be able to downgrade (if Nintendo patches it ofc).

I mean, that's what i'm talking about.

Personal opinion I guess.

What would you rather?

1. if it fails, either high chance of brick or you try again.
2. Very low brick chance, but if it fails, you're stuffed.

Dunno. Worried that option 2 will never come around. Even KTM has some code to auto-retry when soft-bricking.

Okay so my DNS is set to auto-obtain, and all of my upgrade cia's are now going into the updates folder of my 3DS, and sysUpdater is already installed. My body is ready.

Good.
Remember i'm here if you have any problems.
Also if it looks like it's stalled do not turn it off some parts take a while, either wait or ask me.

ITS HAPPENING

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

OKAY IT JUST REBOOTED

Is it supposed to be on a black screen for a while after it rebooted?
That's a common issue.
*if its more than a minute

Turn off your 3ds.
Remove your SD Card.
Turn on your 3ds.
Put in SD card once on home menu
Change the theme. If it's on the one you want, change it to a different one and then back again.

Okay but i'm on menuhax. If I change the theme, will it go away?

Yes. Use browserhax to reinstall it.
Just reinstall it.
This issue is caused by 10.3 menuhax not working on 9.2.
Edit: or 9.9, w/e.

OMG IM ON 9.2!!!! Thank you so much @SomeGamer and @Jackus!

So apparently, you can now downgrade from 10.3 to 9.2 however I need some tips.
Should I downgrade? I actually want to play my favorite 3DS games. (I am not that desperate really... well , kind of. :3)
Is there a huge chance of bricking? I double check everything I am doing usually. :P
If anyone could guide me, that would be great. ^_^

Why do you need to pirate them?
