Hacking Downgrading/Installing CFW on O3DS with N3DS w/A9LH&Luma

Hi all,

I have a New 3DS XL already running A9LH and Luma. I have a friend with a O3DS on the latest firmware and asked me if I could out A9LH on his 3DS. I heard there is a way to downgrade(if i didn't read wrong somewhere) with 2 3DS's if one is already running CFW. Is this possible and if so can someone link me to a well explained guide to do so?

P.S. bought mine already running CFW so my knowledge on these kinds of things are horrible xD

afaik it's not possible from N3DS to O3DS as you have to hack some files on the one with CFW and perform system transfer.. the only way to do a system transfer is by calling Nintendo to manually do it from the server but then the hacked files won't be physically transferred so it is a useless effort.. you need a 2DS/O3DS to hack the other one.. if it would have been an O3DS CFW hacking a vanilla N3DS then it would have been fine to proceed..

rules of system transfer,

can system transfer: includes between 2DS, O3DS to original XL models

O3DS -- O3DS
2DS -- 2DS
2DS -- O3DS
O3DS -- 2DS

below cannot physically system transfer: need to contact Nintendo for Nintendo ID transfer

N3DS/N3DSXL --- 2DS/O3DS/O3DSXL

new models N3DS/N3DSXL can system transfer back and forth

note: 7 days waiting period til you could make another system transfer

You can't do the method because you can't do a system transfer from New to Old.

Are you sure he's on 11.2 and not on 11.1? If 11.1 there will be a method soon only requiring one console. You could get him to buy Fieldrunners from the eShop and hold tight (he will need homebrew and httpwn to access the eShop).
