hi. quick question. what did you use to split the xci? wonder if that is my issue, I used xci-cutter,when try to install - I see the "folder" with xci extension and arch bit set- but it is listed as 0kb and does not install. Any help would be great! thx
I wouldn’t mind knowing as well, as I couldn’t get split XCI to work either. Ended up just installing exFAT support, but I’d go back to fat32 if I could.

This app otherwise works perfectly. I’ll likely keep using it until it doesn’t work anymore. HiD, if you’re out there reading this thread still, please come back!

shortly i'm experiencing some issues.
I installed DK and MTA.nsp yesterday, installation went smoothly, no errors.
today i wanted to test them.. switch says it can't run games and that i probably unlinked my switch from my account.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling also installing the f butthole but installing process fails "Error processing files!"
all prior installed games work?
what am i missing guys?
all my keys are installed!
thanks in advanc

I ended up using the splitnsp.py script to cut the xci you have to install python to run the script. Then rename the folder by changing the folder to .xci instead of .nsp that is generated.

Thanks, got it working. Was hoping it would work with XCI-Cutter as well, but that splits the files differently and the install errors out, unfortunately.

So i followed the instructions provided, DBFZ.xci folder with 2 files inside called 00 and 01. I confirmed the archived bit was set in windows via advanced attributes on the folder. Copied to my switch. Ran N1dus nro. Shows as a folder still. Cant install. What am i doing wrong?

there source code is out there, if someone wants to implement it
Yeah. To sum it up again, what's missing from being perfect is:
  • Network install
  • USB install
  • install all (and delete all)
Those could be taken from tinfoil. I'm wondering why someone would put so much effort in making such a nice gui with filebrowser for tinfoil to abandon it then.
