Okay. So I downloaded ALL the files, put them in the doodlebomb folder. I've tried the 11.2 otherapp.bin as the TC suggests, as well as the 11.3. On an o3ds with firmware 11.4 and USA region, I get the following results:
11.2 otherapp: The bomb opens, then I get the "the home menu ropbin is ready" message, and then Swapdoodle crashes.
11.3 otherapp: The bomb opens, then I get an error code.
Can ANYONE help? I've tried redownloading the files, putting copies of the otherapp and boot.3dsx in both the root and doodlebomb folder, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I just want my custom themes.....
that the title says is only correct if you have a cfw installed, in ofw there is no way actually to 11.4 o3ds cuz there is no payload for that

Okay...
1) boot.3dsx goes into the 3ds folder in another folder, it is what installs the hax doodle for us to launch and send.
2) Do you have initial.bin and rop.bin in the doodelbomb folder, along with the otherapp.bin?
3) I believe this doesn't work on 11.4O3DS

Yeah, I guess it doesn't work on o3ds 11.4. So I gotta wait for smea to make a payload for it. Because Nintendo doesn't want people having fun.

Use the 11.2 payload

So I guess I just have to wait for @smealum to get off his ass and make a payload for the o3ds users. Day 1 payload for new3ds. Day 12 and nothing for old.

No, but there may be an issue. After sending, the hax doodle seemed to corrupt. This may mean the one I sent you is or isn't corrupted as well. o-o

I think it was corrupted like you had mentioned. I'm still getting the message about "/doodlebomb/rop.bin is missing..."

(sent, just in case the other one does not send)

Bomb should take 15-120 minutes to send, and make sure you are on sleep mode/playing a game. Also make sure special notes is enabled.

Complete the final step of this guide as well, if you haven't already.
So I just checked again, its been 2 hours and I havent gotten it D:

What's in your doodlebomb folder, and where is the doodlebomb folder located, and named?

I will send another one also while you answer the questions.

Make sure you have spotpass and special letters enabled. Also make sure your internet is on.

Funny story, I just realized that despite the fact I made this thread pooling a bunch of senders to send doodlebombs, I need one myself. Is there anyone online who could help a brother out?

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    but that's a long shot

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
