I want to say that I truly love love love my Wii U. Especially after I was able to get nintendont running as channels with support for the gamepad. It is truly special in the sense of it being a nintendo powerhouse. I have fully functional n64/gamecube/wii libraries along with some very nice snes and nes channels. It's truly grown into a machine to be proud of.

But it's not portable.

Sure in the same home it is nice to be able to use the gamepad and not bother a friend family member or girlfriend sure sure. But the pad is bulky and the screen not as nice as the switch. This video here:



Is why I feel the switch will shine. Nothing like that in Wii U land. Nothing comes close. It can't even really emulate sega master system properly which the switch does perfectly see here:



No doubt about it Sean P told you in may of 2018. Give it one year and people will be drooling over my switch. It's already there with apps like scummvm, openbor, and pfba. Retroarch will just be the icing on the cake...
