Hacking Does WiiKey handles JPN games that upgrades FW?

I heard some JPN games upgrade your firmware. How does Wiikey handles this?

Will you still be able to play original/backup NTSC games once your NTSC Wii console is upgraded with JPN firmware?

The Wii updates do not prevent you from playing backups... well, at the moment.
But I don't think they will be able to disable the modchips with just an update.

I just updated using Pokemon/SSX blur right after eachother.

Glad to hear that

But I wonder what would happen if I tried updating my US-Wii using a PAL-game...

Has anyone dared to try this? I'm thinking that would trick the machine into thinking that it's European and not American.
