no only the iplayer can do that but it is not worth it because it cannot play ds games

Firmware updates don't help.

You have to flash cards for them to work on DSi 1.4. The R4i cannot be flashed so you need to buy a new one or buy a fashable one. iPlayer can play GBA games but cannot load DS Games but it does Homebrew.
