Does anyone know if and when the r4i-sdhc.com team will update their Firmware for the cards that do not support V1.4? I have the some of the older cards and i do not need to update to V1.4 but i would like to play the latest games. Please advise.

they probably never will, because it hasn't got an updateable bootloader, which means it can't 'look' different for the dsi. You will need to buy a new card when you want to play the latest games. The best one that's updated regularly is the Acekard2i. And it works on 1.4 firmware.
The orginal R4 team doesnt exist anymore, the only way it could possibly happen is if the people who make the clones, successfully clone a more updated card and seel it as a R4

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)+1

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
