I find this weird gunk on my screen everytime my little siblings play the Switch out of the dock. It's nothing major because it takes a spritz of glass cleaner to get rid of it but it's still odd. Anyone else have this problem? I've attached before/after pictures below.

@Alkéryn @Extrasklep I had suspicions it was something like that. I wanted to get a second (and third and fourth) opinion before getting on them for it. I'll have to moniter them more closely from now on.

I've seen my little cousins (5-6yrs) go through 3 hour long gaming sessions picking their noses and eating sugary snacks. That's exactly why I tell them to go and wash their hands before they play with my game consoles/computer.

Isopropyl alcohol may not damage the ABS plastic that the switch and accessories are made of, but can potentially damage any coating that they may have (e.g. matte finish).

Test it first, on the sides. Wipe it and wait a couple of hours after application and check.

It's always safer to just use special screen cleaning wipes on plastic devices and especially plastic screens. There are even some, safe to use, that are anti-bacterial also.

mine does get dirty too even though i keep it in a clean carrying case, the drit smudges pretty much happens mostly because of the glass sp i am using.

i use the spigen one , spigen glass sp.
and it attracts smudges from fingers/dirt etc. ridiculously easily.

just have a micro fibre cloth and wipe it easy to clean at least!
