Hacking Does a 4GB SDHC MicroSD use more battery than a 2GB MicroSD?

I just bought my NDSL from ebay just because of the new SRW OG Mugen no Frontier, most of my friends recommends me to take R4, but i read and research a lot about on several different place and final decided to go with Acekard 2 on dealExtreme

Does anyone know how long does it usually take to ship to USA? I live in Texas.

Now my next step is to choose a memory card, but i have no clue which one is better... I decided to go with A-DATA 4GB on New-egg originally but after reading a post that said it use a lot more battery than the 2GB, i got stuck...

Welcome to GBAtemp. I've been using a 4GB microSDHC and I haven't noticed any drop in battery life, if it's there it's probably mere minutes. Dunno about USA, but HK post takes 2-3 weeks to arrive, and they usually send your order to the post within a week. All my orders so far from them took almost a month to arrive. I switched from an R4 to an AK2, those who recommend the expensive and outdated R4 still need a reality check. Anyway go for an ADATA whatever you do. I tried other class 6 memories and all but ADATA would lag the Castlevania intro, they're very good.

Does anyone from US got the item from DealExtreme within 2 weeks? Maybe i will consider leetmod for faster shipping... $10 more LOL

Also, does anyone can recommend a great case for NDS? Most of the silicon case on DX seems like the all can't close all the way after apply. Should i better shop at local store for accessory?

First of all, welcome to GBAtemp!

And thank you for doing research, and not asking the same shitty question over and over again, which the board is actually flooded with.

And you've made the right choice, going with the Acekard 2.

Lastly, I recommend Newegg over DX for faster shipping. DX's prices are very cheap, while their shipping (Which is free) is slow, compared to other places.

But Newegg seems doesnt have lots of accessories for ndsl... not even a few case for choose... probably would just buy the MircoSD from Newegg.

Dealextreme has the cheapest price you will find for the Acekard 2 and many other popular flash carts, but shipping to the U.S. usually takes 14-21 days.

Although i use flash card since i play GBA, but it's been a while after i got my psp, and the flash card world since changed a lot for me to know. I use flash2advance for my GBA cart... seems doesnt have new product compare to EZflash.

I still got one question need to be clarify:

What is the best combination of OS/Firmware right now for Acekard2?
Bliss's Custom OS seems one of them
YSmenu/Original OS (interchangeable) seems to be another solution

Am i right or not? Or do i miss some other great OS?

shit loads of brand new flash cards i bought an acekard2 from
him brand new for 31 dollars grand total
and came in 4days!

Buying from Amazon seems like a good choice too. Does your friend offer returns if the card have something wrong w/ it when arrive? $25.25 + $5 seems like a better deal but if i buy it on leetmod, i can buy it for $32 + $3.99 for hori screen protector and free shpping... seems going w/ leetmod would still a better choice since i also need the screen protector.

Does anyone know are they selling the real hori or fake? Cause fake one sales on DX and ebay...

I would try the Bliss OS first when i get my card!

Just hope you don't get one of the defective AK2. I got 2 out of 2 returned to Dealextreme due to defects. I chose to get the iTouch DS instead of replacement AK2 since you can run Sakura on iTouch and I like that GUI/firmware more than the AK2.

Leetmod.com is reputable and they answer their e-mails usually same day. They test their carts before shipping, and they ship in 2-3 days. I'm guessing their screen protectors are real but e-mail them to make sure.
