My DSi L and R buttons don't work. Nor do anyone I know who owns a DSi buttons work. I have to blow into them or remove them completely and dust off them. (don't do that it's really hard to put them back on)

Anyone else have this problem? Or better yet, a soultion?

Mine's didn't work, well at least until now.

I ran across a video with the weirdest solution, but its only temporary. You have to lick the buttons with your tongue and then blow into the buttons, it actually worked for me. o-o It's weird and works, I tell you.

happens to me once and i have to open the dsixl and spray some contact cleanner on it and the butons works again

here's the best solution, and i know from experience, since i had 2 DSIs:

GET RID OF IT!

get a ds lite, trust me.

one of my dsi's was used, and the second was brand new,
and both eventually had the same problem.

My XL's shoulder buttons work perfectly fine, as do my phat's. Never had any problem with the buttons on either of them. The phat's microphone is completely dead, though, but it's five years old so it doesn't bother me much.

Blowing works, it has ever since the original NES. There is just something about nintendo products gaining a lot of dust buildup on contacts...

I used to have an issue with my L button. I fixed it by opening my DS, removing the rubber part, blowing in, putting back the rubber part, and mashing the button. It works 100% of the time now

Maybe they just enjoy being blown.
