    What your opinion on this?
Does the DS still have a chance or is it nearing its life span.
Will it be like others like the Gamecube which was more or less abbandon after the Wii's release?

I thought it was dead after March outside of like maybe Devil Survivor 2 and a few localizations (such as the remaining Layton games, which odds are they'll do since they sell well and they'll want to release the 3DS one without a bunch of whining about them skipping a game).

The PSP will probably be dead once FFIV is released this month for the US/EU, unless they decide to localize a bunch of stuff for it (mainly looking at Persona 2 and Monster Hunter Portable 3rd).

Yes. I think Pokemon B/W were the last ones. However I still love playing trauma center & pokemon.

Its not dead. I said other because there are so many good games that it would not be possible to have played and beat them all at this point. Plus, there are not any good games out for 3DS yet. There is always spillage. How long was the GBA in production after the DS came out?

It's nearly dead. March was the last month with amazing games for the DS.

It's pretty much dead. I'm still hoping for a Gyakuten Kenji 2 localization however. :s

You guys don't get what the 3DS is -.-' Its just another mod of the DS like the DSi. DS games won't die, trust me. Not every ds gamer company is gonna make 3ds games, they're gonna continue making normal ds games. When the DSi came out, there were barely any exclusive games for it compared to the normal ds games.

Also did you guys forget about the game droughts that usually occur during this time of the year so just chill 3ds know-it-alls.

However, this isn't just another 'mod' anymore. The 3DS is a new console. It's highly unlikely that we'll be getting anymore big releases because most people are going to be interested in the 3DS.

I think it's going to survive with shovelware for about a year.
But without any big releases it's going to die a slow death.

I am going to say yes and no about the DS dying.
I mean it does have some releases, but now that the 3DS is out, they are going to slowly write out the DS. Like how they did with the GBA. They released two games on both systems, then slowly wrote out the GBA over time.

Its going to be a slow and painful death
but right now is not dying at all cuz the shitty 3DS games out but when the good 3DS games start to come out its going to be a KO
and the fact that the 3DS can play NDS games its like a must upgrade
