Well, obviously if you don't do well in school, its only common sense they take your stuff away.

Focus on school.

Yep. They are. I have $1000+ and my mom won't let me spend it on anything unless its educational even though its my money. On top of that, she nags. My dad is cool though.

Same with me. I have 600 dollars, and my parents refuse to let me spend any of it, no matter how small the cost.

Not really, when it comes to normal things like grades and stuff, but like when I got Guitar Hero my dad went into oh-noes-rock-music-will-unChristianize-my-son mode. So they're basically only strict on stupid stuff like that. Although like some of you have said, they won't let me spend my own money.

My parents are pretty cool, I have never gotten grounded in my life. When we were younger they would either take things away or make us stay in our rooms for a couple hours. They just kinda bitch at us now when we are being jackasses but otherwise they are cool.

Mine are, I can't see Rated R movies or play M rated games, but I have GoW CoO and Superbad on the PSP because my mom didn't know those were M rated when she got it for me when I made Top 10.

I can't buy doujin either now since the stupid lady at Waldenbooks told me off. Altough my mom went through my room, and looked under my bed and saw some, and moved them, she didn't do anything.
