True. The biggest archive I have is 9GB (and yup, it's ultra compressed porn), so I don't know what he needs 900GBs for, even a hundred games don't take that much!:/
i have about 300 games installed and they take up just over 2TB, so games CAN take up quite a bit of space

but then, keyword, 300 games

I was able to fill a 1TB with linux isos within months and that was over 10 years ago. I archived and backed up most of it because you can't find them anywhere anymore in great quality. I thought I lost it before and was ready to sacrifice a goat to get it all back (especially when Mega went down with a chunk of my backups).

there's plenty of ways to come up with that much space for backups tbh

for example if i had to bckup all my drives i'd have to backup about 4.1tb

A dictionary with good algorithm can find the four words easily whether they are separated or not.
This is kinda true, as long as you only use common phrases as your password. However, password length still trumps mixed characters, it just has to be long enough. For example, use any sentence in this reply as a password and whether you use a dictionary with an extremely good algorithm or brute force, it will take an impossibly long time to crack.

But why would either of these use-cases require strong encryption, or any encryption at all? There's no sensitive data there.

some games that require login info or something that keep it in just a normal file?

i know minecraft used to do that, and it kept you logged in

I understand that he chinese government may spy at you, but you don't need the longest most strong password ever made to be safe.

I just feel angry that cloud service provider restricted my account and i can't download any files stored there

Just password the file that provider will lose the ability of file censorship

[BUT IF sometimes passwords are too obvious or weak , It can decrypted very very easily!]

I just use this trick easier said than done to break through that terms and conditions
You'll just feel happy as long as the provider cannot censor you any more just because all of your files are locked/encrypted/winrared this crazy way

You can also use random.org to generate you a random password. Remembering it is the problem though.

NOT JUST generate ONCE , BUT no less than 100 times
