Hacking Do SDHC cards work with homebrew apps?

I have firmware 4.1U and no matter what I do, I can't seem to mount my SDHC card with Wad Installer 1.5. I know the Wii menu supports SDHC cards, but what about most homebrew apps? I am I stuck with using a SD card?

I have been using a lexar 16gb sdhc card for the past 4 months with no problems.
There hasnt been a app that I couldnt use.

although Im on system menu 4.2u

I also use lexar 8gb.

I am using Kingston myself. I ended up figuring out I can just use a USB 2.0 thumb drive and got updated to 4.2U, so now maybe i'll have better luck.
