Hacking Do i really need to update?

Hi all, i have a 4.10 (2 units) version switch and 1 of them has 64 gb sd card, now i buy another sd card (200gb) for the other one in preparation for a hack (SX OS).. when i try to format it, it is asking me to update it to latest firmware.... now my question is, is there a way not to update it? I need a hack console to play Lego Incredibles for my son, im not sure if that game need the latest firmware though... pls advice and thank ypu so much..

Also, you can format the game as fat32 and split the xci files.

Or just update to 5.1 if you use sx os.

yah, but you will have the exFAT support without connecting to internet and without updating.
it's really up to you, also if you have the SX dongle, most of those steps are useless.
