Just like 3DS, it takes one person who actually owns it to share the title keyMommy, where do tickets come from? : 3
Dad: Maybe we'll tell you when you're older
But really, do you have to buy the game to dump a ticket to add to the site, meaning anyone can contribute? And this is why not every game isn't on the list yet?
Why is it that there's games on wiiu titlekeys with no tickets, yet I can use Funkii U to download?Just like 3DS, it takes one person who actually owns it to share the title key

Also if I download a game with the ticket, does it require CFW as opposed to a game without a ticket?
Real tickets on Wii U contain your Wii U's unique ID, so they can't directly be shared like they can on 3DS. The reason we have "legit" Wii U tickets is because those come from disc, and the disc tickets have a universal console ID. eShop games really should not be allowed to install with disc tickets, but Nintendo didn't think of this vulnerability. Why is it that there's games on wiiu titlekeys with no tickets, yet I can use Funkii U to download?

A ticket has a lot of information in it like the title ID and title key. The rest is mostly for authentication purposes. Since we have hacked the authentication part of the Wii U, that part of the ticket isn't important and can be faked. The only part of the ticket that is really important is the key, which decodes the install package. So, you make a fake ticket with the correct title key and a hacked Wii U has all it needs to install/play a game with it.
The only way to get the title key is from the ticket of someone who actually bought the game
If the game have a disc version, it downloads the disc ticket for it, if the game's only available on the eshop, then it forges a fake ticket for it, and you need to run your fw.img to activate sig.patches before you can install it.Thanks for all the info, one question, and forgive me if this should already be clear - but are WiiU games downloaded and installed with FunkiiU using fake tickets in the same way as they do for Brazilian method installs? Or is it the eShop version of the WiiU game, not a faked disk install like the other method?
Cheers
