Because my m3 doesn't, and I'm wondering if it's because I need some files or if something else is the problem. It still works on the DS.

Ohh wow an M3? That's quite the blast from the past. I am almost positive those got blocked a while ago, but you can whitelist them now. I'm not sure what the process is , but that will at least give you something to search for

It said something like g6 before, but an error occured when I tried to start. Now it doesn't even show up :(

i was looking forward to make my r4 sdhc dual core working again and someone told me that i have to use the stage one twl thingy...got an idea on what i shud use??

Stage 2 is for some REALLY old DS flashcarts.
Stage 1 is for old flashcarts that never have and can't run nativly on 3ds
Newer should be running fine natively.

Edit : as you've been told earlier, use the stage 1 launcher for your flashcart.

Still works on DS. I have the feeling the card is too shabby for 3ds, but not for the old one.

^This. I had to wedge a small piece of paper under the contacts of my original R4 in order for the 3DS to see it.
Paperhax. Very effective. Actually it's thanks to Paperhax, that I was able to get oot3dhax to work on my 25 Anniv. Zelda Black o3DS console, before the cartridge slot stopped working on me. Got to get that cartridge slot fixed one of these days though.

What if I have an r4i gold 3DS?

I do repairs like that all the time.
