Hacking DML WiiFlow Fatal error apploader size is zero!

so I've been struggling on and off with my wii for about a month now.

I'm using wiiflow4.1

and I've tried DML 2.0, 2.6, 2.9 for the SD
and DM 2.0, 2.8 for the USB

Everything is formatted to specifications and my HDD is compatible
Basically when I have a disc in it boots the retail disc, not the backup iso, when I take the disc out it gives me the apploader error

I've traced to the problem to being in my config file in WiiFlow 4.1

I checked the settings they told me to look for in another thread, which were

"dml_r52+=yes" and "dm_r2.1+=yes"

but im not sure what version of DML or DM is used for what Wiiflow version or what the heck goes with what.

Could someone explain what my config problem is and how to fix it?

This may not help, but try updating to WiiFlow version 4.2. When I was setting up Devolution for use in WiiFlow, I just followed the tutorial at https://sites.google.com/site/wiiflowiki4/devolution-setup, no need to mess with any configs.

EDIT: Do you have any cios/ios installed? If so, which ones?
