Hacking Disney infinity vwii

I purchased Disney infinity and Skylanders swap force for the ps3 on the the understanding that the portals would work on my hacked WiiU via the vwii.
I had no problem what so ever getting swap force to work, however I cant seem to get Disney infinity to work.
When I plug the Disney infinity portal into the wiiu, it blinks twice and then goes off. If I start infinity via usb loader gx, I get the usual " nunchuck is required " message and then "disney infinity portal is required" but after that I get a black screen.
If anyone can offer any assistance it would be really appreciated.

the issue is most likely that you need to install the Wii Wad file for the Infinity base
look into how people fixed the issue for skylanders
