Gaming Disappointing aspects of software

Post disappointing aspects of software on any OS. Try to add images with the post.
Got an idea for this thread after seeing a program for my printer.

HP Solution Center:
When you open the cover the below image appears. All is well, so far.

If you close it, right after a different screen appears asking if you would like to align the cartridge. That screen appears no matter how quickly you close the cover even though a person couldn't install an ink cartridge in ~10 seconds. All they had to do was add some code telling the program to wait 10+ seconds before making that message appear. That would have been easy enough, don't you think?

That's besides the point.
Software shouldn't be like this. It would have been really easy just to add a small bit of a code to delay the display of that window. Every time I see that window pop up, I'm reminded that I'm using a computer which is not necessarily a bad thing but it does take away from a certain aspect of the computing experience. At least for me.
