The type of patch will depend on the patcher used from what I recall, one of the most used ones on DS are xdelta ones, so it could be that, it's really a choice up to the person that'll compile it in the end anyway.

yes this is ok for anyone useing a DS i dont have a Ds i use a desmune so will it be any diffrent or is there something i need to get

Irrelevant either way since patching is done on your computer anyway. Tell ya what. Why don't we worry about that later on after the patch is being released? Relax cos it's not like nobody uses emulators. Yea and no offense or anything (and kinda off-topic), punctuations would really be appreciated.

They're pretty busy most of the times so they really can't be bothered to update whenever they do every minor thing, also, they won't be releasing an incomplete patch, which seems to be what you're asking. Usually translations aren't really released until they're completed, unless what they release is only a menu translation patch or something, otherwise releasing an incomplete patch has no point for most, besides, almost no one likes to release incomplete works, it just seems wrong most of the times.

So yeah, just wait until they're done, patience is a virtue. =3

Edit: At least you get updates, Romhacking Aerie's (a translation group) last update in January, you just get an yearly update on all their projects, or twice a year sometimes (when they're feeling generous), so yeah.... You can't really complain. x3

Full game or no game. Everythings important, otherwise it wouldn't be in the game.

Its normal that games are being translated for years and the team does not make a patch..... ohh wait..... those translations die.

You aren't paying to get access to it, so you're not entitled to a darn thing.

I would seriously suggest that you keep your gripes about this project to yourself, from now on.

I am pretty sure yugix is waiting for me to finish up with the last problematic graphics... before they release a patch. which i gotta tell ya I just got a fulltime job so the time I used to have for this (whenever the mood hit me) is now down to 3 to 4 hours a week maybe...
also somehting i didn't bring up to them but only noticed after unpacking - i may have packed some of the graphic files under the wrong numbers... so I got to go back and do it over again anyways... sigh...

A full-time job? It's awesome. But, as you said, you will not have much time to fix issues which is bad.
As I said before, take your time. I know how it can be problematic when your mood is off.

Just want to thank you guys for doing that, and to say that you guys really are fast workers, every time the i check there is some progress.
Gonna wait till is ready, even if i can't help with the projects I'll be here to cheer up for you guys =)

As for now, we have finished the translation of almost every text in the game (except for Story). Now we will start fixing grammar mistakes and other mistakes that needed to be fixed (like wrong translation).

But, please, don't ask for patch now. We still have much work to do and it is annoying to ask when the first topic states that "Don't ask for a patch".
When we feel that it is ready, we will release a patch.
