Hacking Question Did I just brick my Switch?

Okay, when I inject the hekate payload it tells me "error while injecting payload (RC =-3)

So my switch is patched?

Tried again and now it it tells me it was successfully injected?

But I should see something on my switches screen?

When I try again the TegraRcmGUI tells me: "Invoking TegraRcmSmash.exe with args...

But it doesn't do more. If I click on the TegraRcmGUI apllication it it freezes (not responding)

Check your serial number against what is known as ipatched. Just search this forum. There are lots of posts about it but my bet is you're patched

OK are your drivers in?

Think you might need RCM drivers.

Not 100% sure, but a program called Zadig might help. We use it on our SDR receivers. It can put the "libusbk" driver on there. (Is that the right one?)

I think it is a lack of drivers on your machine.

Just tried on another computer. It won't work. Always the same problem.

TegraRCMGui freezes, Zadig won't let me install the drivers.

Is it possible that my USB-C cable doesn't work with it?

If the gui says successful then the drivers are loaded fine. Did you ever check the serial?

Hoe long should the process of injecting a payload take?

It says "successful" instantly if I try it for the first time when my switch is getting connected.

My serial is a serial of a switch that is possibly patched.

But I should get a boot screen on my switch if the inection was successfull but my screen stays black.

Or could it be that it doesn't work for me because I don't have a sd card inserted inside my switch?

You cannot use CFW without an SD card. However, you can launch a payload like Hekate without an SD card.
