Hacking Did I buy an Acekard for nothing? :(

So yeah ,

I don't know if this is old news, but a new Nintendo is coming out soon.
So, according to Nintendo, the product will go on sale between April 2010 and March 2011.

I am planning to buy a DSi this friday, but is it still worth buying? I already ordered an Acekard, and it's coming this week ;(

Considering that the new DS will be backward compatible with original DS and DSi games, the acekard was not a waste, although I wouldn't buy the DSi if I were you and just wait till the 3DS comes out as it has been announced and is probably quite far into development.

There's only the one Nintendo company. I'll assume you mean a new handheld console. I like the sound of the 3DS however.

I don't think you wasted your money, even if it comes out this year it probably won't come out till around this time next year for America.
And odds are it will probably get updates to work on the 3Ds the gba flash cards worked on the ds after all.

It sounds like its yet anther lame verson of the Ds why does this new Ds give me Virtual boy flash backs?... Ooow my eyes are hurting.

Why does it matter? you'll still have your DSL to use with the Acekard.

If the 3DS is hardware compatible with the DS, then there may not be a huge leap in graphics. Think Gamecube => Wii.

I once had a Sega Master System with the 3D glasses, didn't do much for me....
