Homebrew dgTool 2.0.0 doesn't seem to be downgrading my NEW3DS to 10.4

I am using fieldrunners on my new 3DS at 11.2.0-35 to initiate dgTool to try and downgrade to 10.4.
I click on Downgrade FIRM0 to 10.4 and I get the following

done.

It seemed to be really short two and I didn't get a lot of scrolling text or something if that was supposed to happen. Why isn't this downgrading? I used 3dsident and it says in still at 11.2

I am pretty confused and sad Help me out T-T

It only downgrades the FIRM partitions so you can then use sysdowngrader to downgrade fully to 9.2

You need to run 3dsident to confirm your firm is downgraded. It should be 2.50-11 or something.
The system settings firmware will remain at 11.2, that is how it should be.

I sense you are not reading the guide carefully.

pretty sure it isn't updating. I know it wont show in the settings that it is at 10.4 sorry to mention that. I just don't know what the issue could be

Follow the guide, it'll tell ya how to get to 9.2

(click Continue to Homebrew Launcher (No Browser), using steelhax for your entrypoint instead of one of the ones listed. and then select If you are above the version 9.2.0, continue to 9.2.0 Downgrade)

Tip, when you get to the actual downgrading part, if the system crashes in the middle (partial downgrade), that should be fine- restart the system and replace the 11.2 homebrew channel payload with a 9.2 payload and rerun the downgrader

Hey, I'm having this same problem. Can you let me know how you managed to fix it? My firmware is stuck on 2.52. Did you just keep going into dgTool and clicking on the downgrade button?

The guide tells you what to do in this situation: "If either of these do not display the versions above [2.50-11], make sure you used the correct NFIRM zip and try flashing NFIRM again".

I've checked and rechecked that I used the correct NFIRM (the files are labelled 11.2 as they should), and I've tried at least 5-6 times to downgrade the FIRM. It remains stubbornly stuck at 2.52-0. Each of the files in the dgTools folder is 4.2 MB.

They should be 4.0 MB exactly (4,096 KB or 4,194,304 bytes).

Make sure they're named firm104_NEW.bin and firm112_NEW.bin (if you have a New 3DS; _OLD if a 2DS/Old 3DS).

Sure. Trying to downgrade FIRM shows the countdown (0-4/4MB) and then prints out done. There's no error message or anything. But when I check 3DSident, it shows the firmware is still 2.52

Okay, I tried removing F0F1_NEW3DS.BIN off the card, and the problem is still there.

Do this:
https://3dbrew.org/wiki/Recovery_Mode (don't actually try to update, just get the screen and turn off).

Then try dgtool again.

Dang, I can't even get it to go to 2.51-0. It just doesn't change at all for me :/
