for the latest nightly builds do we still need to rename the pcsx_retroarch.cfg to retroarch.cfg for best performance like with the older releases?
also thank your for this awesome setup :)

Hi, I have installed the newest retronx but I seem to be having some issues as it isnt showing the retroarch directory when I try to view it within the switch.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks

Try the unarchive fix for the full SD in hekate, or just do it manually on that folder from a Windows PC. See if that helps :)

Weird I transfer the files using my MacBook and that didn't work. So I did it on my PC and it works....

Whenever I use my Mac the archive thingy gets enabled on all files again, and when I use Windows it's only applied to the new files I transfer, if u don't want to use hekates fix you can manually do it using Windows.

Plug your SD in Win, select the problematic files/folders, then right click and go to proporties then advanced, unselect ready for archiving.

Glad u got it working in the end, but try this if it ever happens again :)

Manged to get XCOM working on the DOSBox core but when I come to set up a base I need to type a name etc. Does anyone know if there is a keyboard option - virtual or otherwise - available?

Wondering if anyone can help me with getting FBalpha roms that need a bios to start, I've put the neogeo, pgm, and unibios in as many directories I can think of, but I still can't get any games that require a bios, even with them present in the same folder as the roms to run

Untill i have better proof for this or experience it myself i will keep using exFAT but take backups of my saves regularly. The only issue i have had with my SD card was fixed by running the unarchive fix.
DAMN!!! It happened! Its real! Lost all my stuff on my exFAT SD card, Im going to reinstall everything as FAT32... :/

Lost all your stuff? I thought we were just talking partial dataloss/file corruption? It wiped your entire SD card?

Everything exept 1 folder and some of the files that was directly under root, my whole switch directory and Nintendo was wiped... :,(

any chance you could share your config file or something, I'm so lost with dosbox :')

just wondering how is 3do emulator? full speed? i mean the switch is arm and 3do was also arm so if ported correctly it should run pretty good since it doesn't need to divert all resources to switch every call into another language.

Yes. Welcome to ExFAT homebrew hell. This is why you need one Fat32 and one ExFAT switch, only peasants are swapping sd cards left and right :)

I only play PSX games, you will have to make changes to the other cores yourself, my files are just an example :)

Hey buddy. Any work around with playing single player when the switch is docked? Right now my issue is when I dock the switch, it automatically splits the joycons to two players (even when I mount them in the controller plastic). I already tried having a separate retroarch.cfg but it always reverts back to the original. Would my only option be to purchase a pro controller and configure it?

Play using one of the split joycons ;) Or buy a pro crontroller or buy a magic ns to use another controller u already have.

I do however think that in later updates it is highly possible that the setting can be changed in game.
If u are good at python u could probably use pynx and write your own script for changing the setting files :)
