Homebrew desmume 0.5.0 released!

I tried both Contact and Rocket Slime. Contact runs fine until the main menu where I can't select anything. rocket slime; the screen goes pink for a second then it jumps to the 'press start' screen, but I'm still unable to do anything.

is there a list of games that work so I can test the emu out? or preferably, can someone tell me how to get contact on the road?

AMPonzi, when you said you couldn't fight Bowser, you were slightly right. But what I did was press random buttons (actually, the X and Y buttons) and somehow I beat him. After those events when you try to save it freezes, but you can still continue on with the game. Weird thing was though, before and after the battle with Bowser, the floor was completely black. But while I was battling Bowser the floor was there. Anyways, I just hope the DeSmuME developers continue with their work.

Edit: I also tested Kirby Squeak Squad, and it seems to run well on DeSmuME, especially when it comes to the touchscreen. If you set the frame skip to 0, the game seems to run a bit slower than on Auto, but a lot smoother. The only problem I had with the game was the background was black, and it lagged and had glitchy graphics when switching rooms. Other than that, I'd have to say that Kirby Squeak Squad is pretty fun game.
