Gaming Dementium II delayed until May 4.

Just read that Dementium II got pushed back until May 4.

The confirmation was made quietly hidden away on Jools Watsham's YouTube channel comment section less than 24 hours ago.

Here's a quote of joolswatcham's comment:

"Aw, man. This is getting a little ridiculous. I have the displeasure of confirming that D2 has been delayed again. All I know is that there was some kind of cart delay from Japan or something equally as nebulous. Please don't flood me with messages asking why - that's all I know. The good news is that this date may actually stick. The carts are arriving at SouthPeak this week or next, so they can be distributed out to retail for a May 4th release in the US. I don't know how this affects Europe. I'll let you know when I find out. Uber thanks goes out to everyone. I appreciate your understanding of this almost-comical stumbling of D2 dates. Soon we will all have a box of D2 in our hands, and we will rejoice."

Yep, its one of the few genuinely creepy games for DS... pretty unique

I stopped playing it because the constantly respawning enemies annoyed me too much xD But I'll gladly try out this one when it comes out :3

EDIT: It's an first-person survival horror, forgot to actually say that.

The game has been finished and ready to go for a while now. It's just some lameness about production or some such baloney that is causing the delay. Sounds like BS to me though......they've been releasing plenty of shovelware. Doesn't seem like any kind of cart shortage to me. They just don't want to say what's the REAL reason for the delay, that's all.

Ninty's methodology seems to be this: If a game sucks, is kiddie crap or is just plain shovelware, it gets released immediately. If it's a game that might actually be good, and people actually want it and are anticipating it, then they delay the crap out of it.

Man, I seriously raged a little when I heard that. Dementium is one of the few DS games that are actually fun FPS's.

I did finish it. It was pretty short, but a really underrated overlooked DS game. It's just sad not many people have heard of it. Still I really hope this doesn't become like CORE, months of delays only to be a piece of crap

Wow, i raged a lot. Yesterday i stayed up till 12 and had a little release party with myself and porn. I was almost late to school because of that crazy party. And I went to wal-mart to find it but it wasn't there. I was so confused and angry. This explained it but it's ridiculous. First they said march 14 i think. Then Today. And now in another month. I don't think it'll suck, for one thing it was always meant to be sequel-able. Plus both of Renegade Kids' previous games have been fantastic, and there's no reason for the quality to drop now.

Worst-case scenario we get more of the same atmospheric gameplay, that's not such a bad thing is it?
