The reason they had to increase price is probably because Cyclops Team contacted them to increase price because the price would otherwise be unfair compared to other stores
And if they didn't increase price they just stop selling CycloDS to DX
If Cyclops Team wasn't informed the price would probably still have been $35

If it's one thing I've learned, there are alot of deal killers lurking on these internets (especially on FatWallet and SlickDeals!).

Like the assholes who screw up deals cause they order large multiples of items to resell out of greed, raising a red flag...

Like it or not, people will always engage in arbitrage when there are price differences. It was inevitable that the prices will rise.

I'm not too surprised if that's the case. The same thing supposedly happened with the M3 DS Real bundles some time back.

People are naturally like that. I wish I could convince them to just buy from RealHotStuff or another reputable seller but the prospect of a slightly lower price is just too extraordinary for some people to handle.

I guess I'll get an M3 DS Perfect and i can use that with my Gameboy Micro too.

The thing I never understood was why no other cart manufacturer copied the one feature on the CycloDS that's actually unique and useful. Auto-boot previous ROM. It's really the only reason I'm even considering a CycloDS despite it being almost 2x the price of most other carts.

The autoboot from most other cards only auto-boots a specific ROM you specify. This is great if you always want to boot in to Moonshell or some other app. For me anyways, I'd rather it boot into the last ROM I was using. Mostly useful when I have to keep resetting the game after I screw up again in Ace Attorney

and need to reboot. Or just to boot into the ROM after I've put my DS down for awhile. I'm not someone who can play multiple games at once, so I would like having such an auto boot feature just to save a few steps whenever I turn on my DS.

What you just described is exactly how the autoboot feature for the Acekard 2 works.
