if your drive partition on the pc is formatted fat32 you cant have files bigger than 4GB -> the dumping file is in the EU version near to the 4GB -> maybe thats the fault

try to use a drive partition which is ntfs formatted
I'll try and report back if it works or doesn't, thank you for your help.

When I went to convert to NTSF it said that my drive was already in NTSF, double checking to see if it changed anything.

Yeah, I'll just assume that it's some kind of bug for now. I'll see what I can do to fix it when I get home tommorow.

I was wondering.... does anyone know of a ddd mod that can extract single files? I would love it if it existed.
Did you try ?
I thought it was already possible.
if direct file dump is not possible, a path to a subfolder is.

instead of entering /vol/ only, enter the path to the folder (or file, if working) you want to dump.

on the first post I explained only the base folder for each element because most users want to dump all the data.

Okay, so while my files were decrypting, I had to step out for a moment.
When I came back, my wii u turned off and when I tried to continue duping the files, it gave me this error.

"Client 1 connectedb loaded with 754.825 kb/s
Unknown TAG 00000000"

Anybody knows how I can continue? or do I have to reset?

Dammit, I already dumped the Whole Smash, I only needed 3 files from the content folder (they were loose files, no sub folder) but I'll try soon, thanks!

Okay, forget about the reply I made about ddd, I have all the games files now.
I went to the content folder for the ddd dump.
Copied the ls file, pasted into the content folder from the game dump from Uwizard.
I re-extracted smash explorer.
Then I try extracting one of mario's skins which is c04.
And it STILLS, gives me this message.

"Error extracting model.flp, error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Error extracting model.ik, error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Error extracting model.jtb, error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Error extracting model.moi, error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Error extracting model.mta, error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Error extracting model.nhb, error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Error extracting model.nud, error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Error extracting model.nut, error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Error extracting model.sb, error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Error extracting model.vbn, error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Error extracting model.xmb, error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Done!"

And nothing's in the c04 folder.

Do note: I have the files from the ddd dump.

"Copied the ls file", the ls file alone is not enough. You need ls to view your files, but the dt files are the ones you're going to need for extracting. So make sure to copy those too.

Yup, I got it the files now.
I'm just having trouble actually loading the mods now.

This is pretty cool! First time I tried this though, my WiiU shut itself off, which was obviously my fault because of the power save setting. lol I tried continuing this morning, and after an hour or so, I went back to my PC to check on it and my whole PC was crashed. Couldn't even toggle numlock or Ctrl+Alt+Del, has that happened to anyone? I'm trying to get every WiiU game I have dumped but I'm getting the biggest games done first.

EDIT: on page 14 I see there's a OSX build of DDD compiled but it says it's an older version. Does it still work with the latest firmware or miss out on any important improvement from recent builds?

Last edited by SlimPortable,

Hi, I have a question about dumping Sm4sh: titledumper says for dt00 it just stopped at 2.3gbs and won't go any further, but didn't say it stopped. I went through the correct steps and everything. Is it supposed to do that?

Instant update: Sm4sh just booted. The Smash folder only takes up 2.23 GB's, but it should take up 16 GB's, right?

The one I obtained is 17.3GB not sure if all copies are the same.
