In case there are any Mac users here who don't know Linux and OS X are both Unix-based, the Linux command works on OS X without any modification.

So I dumped my Black Ops 2 disc, and I feel like the meta folder doesn't have all the content in it, and when I try to dump only the meta folder I get this:
DbcHUgY.png

Am I doing something wrong?
Anyone?

meta folder uses two different dump methods, based on your game location:
disc or usb : open home menu
internal : exit the game

look at the first post, it's explained how to dump meta.

So... This question is sort-of related... If we dump a Demo Title from our internal (NAND) system, is there a way to reset the Play Count? For archival purposes, I have several Demos I'd like to backup, but will they just become useless after my Play Counts are used? Has anyone else dumped a Demo Title?

Does this work on 5.5.1 with the current kernel exploit? Because it says it requires a kernel exploit but it also says it only works on 5.4.x and under

EDIT: Says it's 5.5.x on the github page, sorry!

It really isnt needed, since the ipv4 can change at any time for any device.
unless you set your devices to static on your router, makes life easier.

interesting thought, maybe something is saved in the u or c folder? possibly just delete the contents of them and see if that works? or it could then again be a random file inside the game contents folder, could try play it, remove everything copy everything back and see if it resets it.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
