Reboot your system and just try to run the PC server ONLY ONCE ! You should receive NO MESSAGES if you are using a gui but the socket is opened ! If you hit the "connect" button a second time and you will receive "can't bind socket" it is because the socket was already opened by the 1st atempt to connect. This was my problem some time ago.
