MarioCube now put Wii Menu and IOS WAD in folder called dangerous. You have to be extra stupid to install them. You happy @JuanMena
No. Let stupid people do stupid stuff. I like to laugh at them.
That wad should be free in the wild.

I like to laugh at them.
Somewhere in the middle of puberty I left such attitudes behind.

Providing detailed reasons why there is more than "stupidity" (rather carelessness) involved would be a waste of time and energy.
Just this much: You have some weak spot. Anybody has this. You will make "stupid" mistakes in your life. No reason to get laughed at.

If there is an obvious warning added on such download sites this is very welcome. → :)

As much as laughing at stupid people is fun, people who mess around with this sort of stuff are often ignorant, not stupid.
If you call it "dangerous", then ignorant people won't touch it. Only stupid ones will ruin their stuff.

Back in the day I uninstalled my Wii system menu using one of those WADs as I thought I'd be invincible with bootmii on boot2.
Little did I know it would remove vital system files as well lol.

Since I was (one of?) the first to do it I had to create a custom piece of homebrew to restore settings.txt in order to make my Wii work again.
Make me learn the basics of Wii development because I needed to fix it as my family wanted to use the Wii as well haha. 15 years ago! Time flies.

Just a small tale about how stupid decisions can make a person smarter. And jeah, "Dangerous WAD" seems like a good folder name.:P

Haha, case-in-point on my "ignorant, not stupid" statement. You went and wrote custom code to fix your ignorant screwup. Ah, teenage me modding my Wii for the first time. Specifically going out of my way to spend birthday money on an SD Card (which many years later would break one of the pins on my Wii U!) to run Smash Stack.

I remember a day on GBAtemp where the wii forum was indeed filled with "INSTALLED OLDER SYSTEM WAD, CONSOLE BROKEN??" posts. It was only a couple of months ago too.

Hopefully we'll be seeing less people installing 1.0 on their systems.

I hope..

@Larsenv, can you make a vid about liintube (Revived by Redfire/mrt84 and you only have to patch and install a .wad file) Or nextube (Made by NCP30) both revive the YouTube app for Wii.
