Not 100% related to the save editor, but kind of. Has anyone had any luck connecting to the game on a hacked Switch? I'm not banned, at least not yet. If I boot up D3 with Stealth Mode on, it just gives an error..but when I try to connect without it, it freezes at the title screen and forces me to restart the console. I'm trying to start up seasons since it needs online, but I just can't get it working. I saw someone mention having a seasons save, so I figure it should be possible.

Or, better yet, is it possible to add seasons rewards via the editor yet? I tried this editor way back and it wasn't possible then. I just started playing again and it would be nice to have.

Personally I haven't had issues playing but I never tried connecting online. Always had stealth mode on. What error are you getting

Well the error is due to stealth mode, that isn't the issue. It just straight up freezes when stealth mode is off. I get to the title screen and "press any button" and get a freeze. Everything locks up, I can't even press the home button, I have to hard reset the console to try again.

cardinal rule, make sure you are not connecting to the internet while running hacked firmware.

this is how you do it properly:
1) while on original firmware and online, create a season character, then exit
2) turn on airplane mode
2) reboot into hack firmware, confirm you are still on airplane mode, load checkpoint, grab your save
3) transfer save to PC, hack it with D3Edit, then put it back on your SD card
4) boot again into hack firmware, load checkpoint, send hack save back to switch
5) reboot into original firmware, keep airplane mode on for now
6) load D3, get to title screen - it won't let you select your season char - okay
7) now turn airplane mode off, let it connect to D3 servers, now you can select season char
8) at your own risk, play online. alternatively turn airplane mode back on at this point and play - this time it gives you warning that playing offline removes you from getting on the leaderboards (yea this is what i want anyways).

So, I created a new Demon Hunter char. Edited the save to set level = 40 with this editor. Injected the save and I can see I'm lvl 40 but when I try to fight monsters I'm doing no damage on them and being insta killed... Maybe some protection against hacking? Anyone had this problem?

EDIT

ok, got the problem.
When you adjust your level, the game automatically matches the monsters to your level. That being said, you need to have equip to match them.

I have finished hacking my switch and am able to get the GUI for D3Edit to load on my PC but I can't seem to locate the save file to open. Any help would be greatly appreciated it.

Hi guys, using the latest 1.05 version trying to add items but the level required is lower hence the stats are low.

For example, adding Dawn (the hand xbow) but the required level is 50 and not 70. Am i missing something? also some primal/ancient affixes are not found , how do i add them?

I don't think this is even close to reliable anymore.. Tried on the newest season (19). And the only thing to reliably work was editing my level to 70. 99% of the armor and weapons didn't load correctly. Gold didn't work. Half the armor didn't even show up, and the ones that did work were messed up. Not to mention the repo hasn't been updated since 2018.

true, but the tool is still useful...

1) want gold? give yourself tons of flawless royal gems and sell them to a vendor.
2) want gear? give yourself millions of crafting materials and go to kadala, and upgrade rares through the cube.
3) want to edit gear? do step 2 above, then go into editor and change the affixes around.
4) want bounty mats? add the the caches through the ID's I linked in a previous post.
5) want primal? do step 2 until ancient, then use editor to make it primal.
6) want level? edit level and/or paragon
7) want cosmetics? most of these are found already in the editor

can't think of anything else you may need to do here.

Even editing the mats didn't work for me.. Maybe I just have bad luck! Thanks for sharing, I'm sure many will find your guide useful!

Well, you hack your switch and use checkpoint. Nothing more to explain here.

google checkpoint and you will have enough to know.

what i mentioned above, plus...
1) adding the 1b phys damage ring (it is already in the editor as [DEV] test ring - also look thru past posts)
2) using editor to level up gems then augment gear through the cube.
3) adding 3 sockets to rings and amulets. for a total of 9 leg gems.
4) same as above for helm. go heavy on CD or life% or mix of both.
5) same as above for weapons if you like.
6) using editor to create a max gem of ease with 18+ affixes. for affixes, choose all passives for the class you play.
7) maxing out gear to get 70% crit chance, 900% crit damage (seems to be the max)
8) adding 9-10 increased pickup radius to most gear, makes picking up progress globes easier.

you are pretty much god mode after this. especially if you add the 1b dmg ring, choose 3-4 best defensive gems, then put all paragon into vitality.
