E4 shouldn't be that hard for you. I went in with

63 Infernape
60 Straraptor
55 Manaphy
56 Luzray
53 Roserade
36 Bibarel (HM Slave, don't why why I brought him to E4)

Infernape/Staraptor should take out the first guy. Torterra and Prinpulp the second. Golem, Prinplup and Infernape can take the third and all other them should be able to take out the fourth. I'm guessing your having truoble with Champion Cynthia. Her Garchomp will devastate your team.

pretty much.. need to get a good ice type.. any suggestions? (perferably one with 3/2 Evolutions?)

EDIT: nvm i think ill just go hunting for an Ice TM and teach it to Piplup... wonder if they still have Ice Beam

Give it Ice Beam. Blizzard accuracy is only 70%. 25 more attack strength isn't worth a 30% decrease in accuracy. Also, why do you have Prinplup? Evolving it to Empoleon will give you the stat boost that could allow it to be alive one turn longer.

Just dumped 60% of my team to start making a new one, hoping I'm done with most requirements of the HM's.

Previous team: Staraptor, Mismagius, Roserade, Rapidash. Steelix and Prinplup (ye I know I should have just gotten it to Empoleon but meh) for HM uses.

Current team: Staraptor[56], Mismagius[56], Gardevoir[40], Leafeon[22] (test), Glaceon[2] (test), Umbreon[5].

Jolteon, Umbreon and Espeon were always good in previous teams imo, and I decided that I will keep an Umbreon this time and see if Leafeon and/or Glaceon is any good, fun testing I guess.

jezuz i'm pissed with two of my pokemons

gyrados and luxray.
they have intimidate and it slows the beginning of the battle down.
i want to quickly get into battle and finish it off, dont want to watch the whole sequence.

as soon as i'm done with E4, they are goners

Is there a good guide anywhere that lists the different Pokemon and their abilties, and which evolve into the better ones to have?

My first time playing so I'm not sure if I'm wasting my time leveling up certain pokemon if there are better ones ahead.
