Please don't start flaming on the Cyclowiz and don't start praising your Wiikey or Wiinja, or anything else. This thread is only for information purpose.

We were asked if the chip disable wire going to the Reset button is needed to upgrade. No, it's not needed! Some people are also wondering what kind of tests we are performing. Here is a picture of a part of our testbench. It's a time consuming task, we're making sure everything runs smoothly on a lot of different drives, consoles and chips so that everything will fine on each and every user setup. It also helps us find bugs, a couple were already fixed since last post

they mention about release it during the coming week and an wiikey upgrade.

i have rayman and it works like a charm with cyclowiz not even a Disc error.
i wonder if thats because mine its NTSC and yours PAL

Yeh theres 3 PAL problem games for the cyclowiz, COD3, Rayman and Marvel: UA i believe.

COD3 NTSC doesn't work at all. Tony hawk/WW has stuttering issues on NTSC.

Well they said they released it to "beta testers" and that the beta testers can leak it if Cyclowiz doesn't release it soon. That comment struck me ass odd and here is what im guessing will happen. If it's true what people say and this thing is a 50/50 chance of working or not and Cyclowiz cant fix it (cause that chip isn't made to be "upgraded" like this) then they will never release it officially but instead release under the guise of a "beta tester" that way they wont be responsible for it bricking your chip rendering it useless. Just my thoughts.

Well at least they have a semi working update. If it comes down to using the leaked version i'll take the risk because i want a wiikey, so if it works, fine i'll keep my cyclowiz n if it renders it useless then i'll go ahead n buy the wiikey. i dont have anything to lose by testing this upgrade

if they were smart, theyd make a deal w wiikey..

release a "update" that fries your chip, then get a kickback from wiikey for all the orders theyll be recieving

I talked to teamcyclops and they are almost done with the final. I don't think it would be wise to release the alpha today and have the final released tomorrow (sunday is the deadline I got the date wrong and that is my fault). There is only one day now until the upgrader so just a little bit more patience. sorry about the error guys that was my bad not theres

sounds to me like no final no alpha at any time.
i will de-solder that piece of crap right now, maybe 10 minutes after that there will be an update, i dont care anymore.
