Hacking CycloDS Real Time Save

Hello everyone. I am having issues with the CycloDS real time save.

I know this is an older card, but other than this it seems to be working fine. I am on the latest v2.3 firmware and I have tried holding the select button while pressing 'a' to launch the game. I have read that this is supposed to initialize a .rts file for real time saving. However, this does not seem to be the case because it does not create this file and will just launch the game as normal. Am I doing something wrong here?

I think that you can create the file in a menu.

You need to enable the option first in the card's settings menu iirc.

Wow, OK thanks guys. Apparently the "new" way to do it or something is by going into the menu specific to each game and creating a RTS file there, all the stuff online said to old the select button when launching the game.
