During its Night City Wire Cyberpunk 2077 event , CD Projekt Red has announced the Phantom Liberty expansion. This spy-thriller themed expansion will feature a new cast of characters that protagonist V will encounter in a new area within Night City. In addition, Keanu Reeves will be reprising his role as Johnny Silverhand in Phantom Liberty. A teaser trailer accompanied the announcement:

It didn't play very well on PS4 (Standard/Pro) so no surprise they ditched last-gen.

This has to be bigger than it seems coming at least, what, 2,5 years after the base game "released"... right? Unless getting this game into a remotely non-embarrassing state really did swallow all that time? I could see that as well - last night I played it all patched up and was still getting t-pose galore not 5 minutes in. Sure, it's in a visibly better shape than it was back in 2020, but you can tell it's just heaps of duct tape holding it together.
