Made my first custom theme a few days ago based on one of my favorite title screens of all time, the SNES SimCity title screen. I was originally just making it for myself but eventually thought I might as well share it because... well, why not, right?

There are two versions: The original with the SimCity logo in the bottom screen background and a logo-less version as requested by Joom.

Not to rain on your parade, because I love this (and pixel art themes in general), but it'd be so much better without the Sim City logo. Of course this is just my opinion. Good work regardless. I really want to start designing themes soon. I used to make PSP themes, and a lot of you guys have inspired me to take up making 3DS themes. I've got a few ideas to circumvent the limitations of the home menu that could make it beautiful.

Not raining on my parade at all, it's a completely understandable opinion. Like I said, this was initially just meant for my own use and I liked having the logo there. Making a logo-less version for those such as yourself who'd prefer it without it is simple enough since I saved my layered PSDs. I've submitted a logo-less version to the site and I'll update my previous post if/when it gets approved. Thanks for the suggestion!

EDIT: Logo-less version is up! I've edited it into my previous post. Also, I've fixed a small tiling error I noticed in the top background in both themes so if anyone has previously installed the theme, consider freshly re-downloading and re-installing!

I edited the border textures because a small error appeared.
Explanations just below.

The update gives border texture will correct some errors that may appear in the border texture in large mode. This error appears when the image on the lower screen has very dark colors. Custom themes with images with very dark tones create white pixels around the border. To fix this error I made some adjustments in the textures.
