Waninkoko's IOSX rev21 has been released!!

This is a custom cIOS, a modified IOS to add new characteristics not available in the official IOS.

The Custom IOS is installed in a free slot and does not modify any other IOS, so it's safe to install.

Changelog:

- Added support for IOS58.
- Added support EHCI module of IOS58 (more compatible).
- Emulator NAND corrected (most of the functions should work.)
- Corrections and improvements.

Install Instructions:

Instructions
1) Extract the folder to the Apps folder on the SD card
2) For offline install: Get the IOS wad you want to use as base with NUS Downloader
3) Run the Installer with HBC
4) Choose IOS36 (or IOS249 if you already had a cIOS). If IOS36 doesn't work, follow a guide to restore the Trucha Bug.
5) Choose wad install for offline mode or network install for online mode

Triiforce mrc doesn't seem to be working with base 58.
EDIT: Nevermind, switched to Triiforce mrc v10. It seems to work just fine now.
EDIT2: Only on base 36 does it actually play games without freezing. I tested base 58, 57, 56 and 38.
EDIT3: For some reason it works with my thumb drive but not my friend's usb hard drive.

Looks like i have something to do tomorrow. Oh and don't expect too much from this IOS58 support, the usb stuff in IOS58 is totally different from the one used in all other IOS.(-> a lot of work to get it to work correctly)

Can anyone confirm the Smash Bros playback issue with Rev21? Are we talking about playing it via USB loaders?

yes usb loaders.. i changed my loader to load smash with ios248 which i have 20b still on and it works, but 249 with rev21 it doesnt.. smash is the only game giving the insert dvd issue in rev21...

Super Smash Brothers works perfect for me with 56 as the base. I think you may have had an error installing your custom IOS or have installed it with an incompatible base.

so far so good, but i'm looking for support for my wiiware forwarder isos which rev21 does not work with. i don't see how, unless the nand emu has changed since rev17. they all work with rev17.

i've heard reports of triiforce working...anyone know if it works with wifi?

Is the controller lag still present when using ios 56?
The controller lag is still present in Animal Crossing: City Folk using rev21 base 56.

i have gotten no controller lag using base 56 in either 20 or 21. what format is your drive?
My drive is NTFS. The base IOS does not seem to matter; the controller lag issues occur with revs 20 and 21. When I use Hermes' IOS, the controller lag issues are not present.

im using fat32 and 21 with base 56 and i play animal crossing everyday and i never noticed any lag with the controls. I also havent experianced any of the other problems people said the had with base 56 like smash bros pause menu or rock band 3 lag.

The controller lag in Animal Crossing: City Folk is minimal; my guess is it was there and you just didn't notice. In fact, I didn't notice it until someone else who has a character in my town brought it up. If you go into your inventory and start moving items around, you will most likely notice a slight stutter every now and then when using Waninkoko's cIOS, rev20 or rev21, regardless of the base IOS. This does not occur with Hermes' cIOS. I have yet to test this using a FAT32 device, but I do not think it will make any difference. I will try it tomorrow.

Like you, I also have not noticed any problems with Super Smash Bros. Brawl when using rev20 or rev21 with base 56.
