Hacking Custom IOSX rev18 Installer released

I installed cIOS rev18 with IOS 57 as a base (since i heard it has better USB2.0 support) and wow so far 0 problems i tested both MPT and SSBB for DL bugs and the speed improvment is GREAT!!

using Wiiflow SM4.1 btw

ios57 as base wont run Metroid prime trilogy but works with SSBB

Yes the speed imporvemtns are through USB, I've been able to play MP3 from the MPT disc for long time now.

Triiforce is not working for me, Im not sure if this is because it just needs an update to be compatible with rev18 or because of the fact i use ios57 as a base, but it spits out an error saying its unable to locate the title lists now and restarts

Using usb loader gx makes it easy for the alt-dol method, but MP3 doesn't work wither older versions of ios 249

Edit: Im gonna try testing the nand emu stuff now, triiforce and what not, im not sure if there related but i read somewhere wiipower stated triiforce incompaitibiles were mostly due to not supported characters by the cIOS but in the change wanin stated he added support for characters not supported, maybe more wiiware loads now too

Hmm, I tried IOS 57 and 38, both break Wiiflow for me. Installed 17 and Wiiflow works again.

Read the threads/changelog andyou will find out why this is much better than 13a, with many choices for different variations for better game compatibility, use of ios 37 would allow for RB instrument support (Not tested by me, but in theory) speed improvments/better wifi etc, and no having to restart your wii everytime to change games you play (the rev 13 bug) and DL seems to be fixed.

Reguarding MPT, all 3 of my games works from USB and with great speed, almost 0 lag going through doors into large rooms. BUT its not the perfect working solution, you still have to use Alt-dol and only play on veteran difficulty

What version of Wiiflow are you using? Ive used both R30 (newest "official") and VIP's patch of r28 with category support and they work flawlessly/fast, maybe its just me but with rev18 my HQ covers seem to load faster as well when i push plus alot and it skips alot i never see grey boxes while it loads new covers either
