The rebooting with hooks in BLGamma0.3 gives an error. Why?

(With cIOS rev10 it could reboot but the wii froze after that.)

I was just about to post exactly the same thing. Now get something like "Error loading menu" if you try rebooting with hooks under rev12, had exactly the same problem you mention with rev10 as well.

Well I'm back on 10 now since 12 reads at X6, not having to have a disc in the drive for deadly creatures and metroid prime 3 is a great thing but not at the cost of X12 reading speed. Here's hoping 13 is the lucky number.

I just tested Animal Crossing speed :

Original game (6x) : 10 footprints while loading

USB game (rev12, Seadate Freeagent GO) : 10 footprints also.

It was faster with rev10 so rev12 is limiting the speed to 6x in order to increase compatibility.

You mean that "exhaust dots" coming out of the Bus?

Then I have 6 "dots" at first time I see that screen.

rev10 freezes in some games, like AC, Wii Music....

but rev9 is both fast and does not freeze!

i personally have no issues with rev9, so downgraded again : P

It's fast, it'S more compatible, it's good...

..but can't wait to get rev13

At first it didn't want to start the network install, kept getting errors.
Turn it off and tried 30 mins later and it install perfectly.
It did stop and looked like it froze at the end when the annoying music stop.
But 10 seconds later it rebooted.

I just finished installing HBC and BackupLauncherGamma on a virgin wii. I understand to get "BLG" working I have to install CIOS rev 7 that comes included in the zip, my question is can I just install rev12 instead or do I have to install rev7 then overwrite with rev12.

I swear Rev12 also freezes Animal Crossing, 'cause after 50 minutes of play, the game froze on me. So I'm back to Rev9 as well.

rev 7 is outdated, so you can safely install anything later for optimal compatability

You can skip and just install rev12

just updated to v12. animal crossing lockups exactly the same as v10 unfortunately.

Installing v12 causes all my usb-loader channels stop working, also gone the usb loader v1.1, error msg shows something wrong with usb subsystem. Reinstall v10 turns everything back to normal. Any idea? I 'd love to have my usb ethernet adaptor working with usb loader. Thanks!

Hi guys friend of mine is trying to install the new CIOS Rev 12 and get the error (ret = -2011). Im not sure what it means or how to fix it. I told him to try and install Rev 10 first. Can anyone help?
