whats frustrating is that the rebooter still has problems since rev 10 up to rev 12 i was hoping that rev 12 would fix this but yea i cant complain waninkoko did a nice job as it is. THANKS AGAIN dude.

I got a error ret- 1035 when I tried to install this cIOS. Anyone have any idea why?

PAL 4.0 with Waninkokos upgrader and trucha patched all IOS's with icefires patch. Maybe I don't need this cIOS?

You're half-right. Possibly the trucha patcher is the problem. What you need to do is, re-install it. Don't remove IOS, re-install.

Then try to install again.

Whether it comes from IOS36 or IOS38, it resides in the Wii as ÂIOS249. It is modified from one of those two official IOSes. Waninkoko obviously saw something advantageous in using IOS38 over IOS36. I guess if you spend enough time, you can code one from scratch, but exploiting and beating "the system" is such a blast.

When I load a launcher with my attached HDD turned on, it spins up and down forever. The loader freezes. However, it works when I turn off my HDD, start a Launcher with a timeout counter and then turn it on! The Mic works in GH:WT.

cIOSs up to 10 worked flawless. The same problem existed in Hermes's cIOS!

RB1 instruments have the same compatibility as the RB2 instruments.

There is a way to get them to work with a USB loader though. Download Hermes' cIOS ( http://mods.elotrolado.net/~hermes/wii/uloader_v1.8.rar - all you need is the cios_installer folder in the apps folder) (or offline installer here: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=157...;#entry2004652) and install it as IOS 233 as a merge of IOS 36 and 37. Then use Configurable USB Loader (http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=147638) to load the game, choosing to load it with IOS 223-mload in the options.

However, Rock Band 2 DLC does not seem to work properly for me. It doesn't transfer the songs back to the SD card when you're done playing them. I could play one or two songs but that was it - all the others would fail after that. I had to redownload all my DLC to get it working again even when playing from the retail disc. If it does work properly for anyone please let me know. So every Rock Band game and track pack works flawlessly except RB2.

AFAIK, I never installed IOS249. Should I still uninstall it? Did the failed update ruin anything?

you need to install 249 first so i used cios36 rev7 and then upgraded to rev13b CHOOSING IOS 249 TO INSTALL.


one more thing the usb ethernet & wifi work on which CIOS
