Hi guys,

Did any people had copyright issues with a print service company? I just ordered my custom cards and I received asap a mail from MakePlayingCards.com (aka MPC) that is trying to cancel my order for using Amiibo pictures which seems to be copyrighted contents now...

What is strange is that they only circled 3 back cards and only 1 from 3 on SSB back design and 2 from 9 on BoTW ones.

What can I do now? :(

Could you possibly make Corrin player 2 and Bayonetta player 2 in Comp C's style? I did find one image of Corrin 2 but the colours don't match the original

I know Emanule has made his own versions, however, I prefer this style.

Also, would you at all be willing to make the new fire emblem amiibo cards in Comp C's style for Fire emblem? It won't let me post inks atm They're honestly the best one's Ive seen and I've not yet seen them for Tikki and Chrom!

Because they are copyright. You are not supposed to make them as a company. They are for personal use only so for a company to print them for you would be classed as copyright. Grab a printer and print your own. If you are that desperate I can make you some just pay for the "mats, ink etc" Since it's personal. I can post worldwide too. If you're desperate. Or PM me and I can tell you how to do it. You will need to purchase a decent photo printer though to make good cards.

I didn't declared myself as a company, I ordered like a normal customer, and It seems strange since I saw that many people received their bunch of amiibo cards from makeplayingcards.com without issues.

You may have misunderstood my comment. They are the company and they are printing copyright material. This is where the issue arises, some people have had issues with staples etc.

:rofl2: thats awesome! Where did you source those carts?

I've found them on aliexpress, then paint them, modify your picture, add the logo (amiibo) and the code on the left.
Now need to make the champion

@mrdami3n Look at this : https://gbatemp.net/threads/compcs-amiibo-cards.413508/page-38#post-7207228

How did he managed to print his cards from the same website if I can't ? Is the "Amiibo" logo which makes the difference ? Because on the e-mail I received they stated about Amiibo pictures, not Nintendo.
If i made circular logo with lower opacity can the thing passing through ?

Thanks again in advance :)

EDIT : Are those OK ? I additionally crossed Amiibo logos after lowering their opacities.

The only issue I see is that the person who ordered these last was a while ago. They may have come to a moral decision not to print them? Maybe due to this site people actually flood their department with sales? Who knows. In regards to these cards Nintendo have a complaint over a trademark that isn't actually on the cards artwork. Their anti piracy team just doesn't want them to be sold. You could send it over and see if they will print it for you. Worth a try.

I spoke with their customer support and they confirmed me that no, they'll never print again cards with Amiibo logos. Once I removed them with a blank square (0% opacity, so totally replaced by white color), they resumed the print process.

Would you have the possibility to edit this though ?

Full NFC card set from China finally arrived. Pretty good and fairly cheap for $80 (162 cards).

Quick snap at work of some of them but will try and post a bit more later. Cards are quite thick, and bit thicker in the center due to the NFC chips. Overall pretty good quality, with a few tiny bumps on the edges probably from shipping but not worried about that.

Will be testing and copying data to them tonight!

Can I print these templates on sticker paper and just stick it on the card or would that cause problems?
